I’ve lived in, worked, and visited multiple states and have visited, shopped, and shot at so many gun shops and ranges that I’ve lost count. If you’re like me, then you know the difference between a great store and a range from just a good one.
Staff:
Our staff are not only firearm owners and shooters, but come from a variety of backgrounds within retail, aerospace, first responder, and military. 2/3 of our employees are present, former or retired law enforcement and military personnel with combined service of over 70 years.
Along with all of this, we are 2A supporters and participate in a variety of shooting disciplines from the tactical world to the competitive field. You will not find more experienced staff at any other location. We’re so sure of this that we will run our gun and not our mouth, come in and compete against us at one of our drill nights!
Products:
We are not only the shop for the working man or woman, but we are an enthusiast shop for the hard use end users. We carry and sell hard to find products from brands like Taran Tactical, Laugo Arms, Nighthawk Custom, Staccato, OA Defense, Bravo Company USA, LMT and Stealth Arms to name a few. When I say that we have them I mean they’re at our store where you can feel, and in some cases even test them out, to see if they are what you’re looking for. Along with this we use the brands we personally use and put them through rigorous use and firing schedules.
Our Rainier Arms brand of Rifles, parts and accessories are even made here in Wichita. So, you’re not only supporting a local business but one that chooses to manufacture here!
Range:
We offer a hard-use range that has 3 bays with 8 lanes each and even a private bay for our Patriot Members to use by themselves. Our range can handle everything up to and including the .50 BMG caliber of the Barrett .50 cal Sniper Rifle. You may want to double up on ear protection, but bring in even your hardest recoiling rifles, shotguns and pistols and test your aim.
We have rental firearms from all the popular brands, along with high end firearms like TTI, Staccato, Glock, Sig Sauer, and others. Along with full auto rentals like the M249 SAW, M240 medium machine gun, MP5’s, CAR-15, and more!
Training:
We offer everything from basic instruction on handguns and rifles to advanced tactical training. We even host outside instructors from the likes of GBRS and Eddie Gallagher for training, if you’re ever looking to improve as a shooter we got you, check out our schedule for availability.
Drill nights are always a blast, literally and figuratively. We offer multiple events throughout the month that no other range will come close to offering such as pistol, carbine, low light, scenario-based training exercises, and night vision! You heard that right, night vision drill nights where you can come in and justify that expensive purchase to your significant other!
To sum up, we’re Rainier Arms Firearms Academy, we aren’t your average gun store or range, we are the best and if you’re a firearms enthusiast come in and see what we can offer!
